Questions

What is Bidadari Drop?

A simple way to send a file to someone for a short time. You upload one file, get a link, and the file is removed when it expires or when its download limit is reached. It is not cloud storage.

How long are files kept?

You choose: 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days. The default is 24 hours. Nothing is kept longer than 7 days.

What happens after expiry?

The link stops working and the stored copy is removed from the active server storage by an automatic cleanup that runs every few minutes.

Can I revoke a Drop early?

Yes. After creating a Drop you get a separate private management link. Open it to see the status and revoke the Drop, which deletes the file immediately.

Can I add a password?

Yes, optionally. The password is not part of the link, so share it through a different channel. Too many wrong attempts are temporarily blocked.

Can recipients upload files?

No. Recipients can only download the file you shared.

Are files publicly searchable?

No. There is no public directory, no search and no listing. Only someone who has the link can reach a Drop.

Are files scanned for malware?

Bidadari Drop does not scan files and does not claim that files are malware-free. It limits risk by allowing only certain file types, storing files privately where they cannot be run, and always serving them as downloads. Only open files from people you trust.

What is the difference between Bidadari Drop and Bidadari Seal?

Bidadari Seal is for short secret text such as passwords, PINs and API keys, and is deliberately text only. Bidadari Drop is for files such as PDFs, Office documents, images and text files. Do not send passwords or keys as files here; use Bidadari Seal.

Can the recipient keep a downloaded copy?

Yes. Once someone downloads a file, Bidadari cannot control or delete the copy on their device.
